This architecturally designed home in Princes Hill, Melbourne is one of our favourite projects. We gave this heritage building a stunning makeover from the inside out. Where most heritage buildings settle with conservative designs, we were able to give a modern, contemporary touch to this home thanks to the client’s brave attitude. Taking inspiration from European interiors that pay homage to the ‘old’ and combining modern interior design principles, we designed a home that suits the client’s lifestyle, tastes and requirements. We retained the Victorian-era designs like the fireplace, the arches and the regal window designs and gave a modern touch to retain a subtle balance of old and new.
